Somehow this weekend I've managed to watch nearly the whole series of Escaflowne again. I was only going to watch a couple to inspire me to draw Folken, as I am on my gorgeous-boys-with-silver-hair kick and promised to draw him...but it's such a beautiful anime, I really couldn't help it. :devilish: My heart still hurts from it. Anyway, I also attempted to CG him...just because I haven't had much practice and I'd really like to know how all these artists got to manipulate Photoshop so well. Tips, anyone? :floating:

ps. erm...once again, my monitor lied to me...so i had to try fixing the colors on another computer without the original file and program. alas, it got a little more pixelated...but the colors look more like i originally thought they were. :O_o:

Heh, I haven't done any cg'ing yet. =/ n_n I think you did a good job, :D I see you did the tv series Faulkner too. =/ The "Girl in Gaia" Faulkner has a reall bad mullet. o_o Lmao, great job! :D

wow, great job, I love the way the colours stand out, it actually caught my eye so much i stopped what i was about to do on the net to comment on it. (ok i'm rambling...) Gotta love the hair. ^_~

LoL! thank you much. and yesh, i did draw the tv version...the story and all the characters are just a trillion times better in my mind. plus, you're right...folken had an AWFUL mullet in the movie. *shudder*

Way cool! I wish I could do this stuff....ack! Very nice though! Keep at it and I'm sure you'll manipulate whatever you want in photoshop. I'm not one to ask though as far as cg goes, or for much anything else, but if you do have questions ask and I'll see what I think maybe. Who knows. Any ways nice work!

wow, nice job...i love the composition ie. he fills the entire page....and you did a really good job with his hair ^_^!

tips for cg---heaps of practice---they way you will develop your own style---and it also helps to study how other artists do it ^_^!
